I was born and bread in the tropical country of Colombia. I studied Arts in the vibrant Spanish city of Barcelona, and I am currently based in the multicultural city of music and football Manchester; a place I call ‘home’ for 15 years now.
Since a very young age, I have always enjoyed drawing and creating different forms of visual communication. My journey within the creative profession began in Amposta, Cataluña, Spain where I graduated with a BTEC in Artwork Finishing and Photography from Escola d’Arts Esardi 2009-2012. I then graduated with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from the University of Salford 2014-2018.

EXPERIENCE
In my 10+ years of experience, I have worked in several creative fields, such as Photography, Graphic Design and Motion Graphics, Marketing Collateral, Signage Design, Social Media and Website Design. It seems like only yesterday when I used ‘Freehand of Macromedia’ or ‘Corel Draw’ for car wrapping and merchandise printing in my very first professional design brief.
My professional journey has taught me that Design transcends boundaries, and I have been privileged to continue this creative exploration through developing briefings for clients, such as Manchester Airport, Manchester Hall, NQ64, Barons Quay, Made Safer, Indian Tiffin room and Maracas Restaurant, among others.
I feel so grateful to my past employers, especially The Agency Creative, for the opportunity to work with such a diverse client base.
MULTIDISCIPLINARY
I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and someone who loves to keep motivated by taking on self-initiative projects as a way of learning new skills, and also providing me with a sense of creative freedom and self-discovery.

The process
Every project begins with the research stage, where I develop a complete understanding of the brief in every sense. In fact, no actual design work takes place during this stage of the project, instead it is an opportunity to think, plan and visualise. The beginning of the research actually occurs during the initial client meeting/video call. My focus at this point is client insight, the product or service, available market research, and any existing trends.
Determining a clear sense of direction and purpose for each project is key to ensure the client’s overall goals are achieved, whether that be raising brand awareness, developing a product/ service, or increasing sales. I have found over the years that implementing a robust strategy stage helps to add structure to the creative thinking process and paves the way for the design.
This is where the magic happens; using knowledge from the research phase and direction from the strategy phase, I convey these criteria to dream big and create the unexpected.
First Concepts, Design development, Evaluation and Deliver.
Delivering the perfect Design that meets the client’s brief is my primary goal, and I use all my experience and abilities to achieve this. My aim is to deliver a polished, final Design with that Wow Factor.
